If you ever suspected your young builder is living in (or maybe even came from) another world, it’s very likely true. At this age, the mind is wide open, full of curiosity and fearless exploration. The world is not yet a fixed place in time or space, and there are no set expectations for what the world can be like now or in the future.

Think you need big boxes of bricks and lots of experience to build something great? Whether you have just a few minutes to spare after a busy workday or hours to play on the weekend, here are five fun and easy build & play ideas you can make in no time. All you need are 27 DUPLO bricks and figures (or even less) to start creating with your toddler.
Do you want to make a snowman but you’re missing the snow? Try getting all your white bricks out and start building. And the bonus is you don’t have to get cold whilst doing it! Maybe even create a mash-up with a real carrot? Or a cute scarf? (Plus you can still have hot chocolate when you’re done!)
Flashcards are handy for so many reasons. They’re easy to carry with you, and they are a fun way to play memory games with your toddler whether you have five minutes or need to kill some extra time in an otherwise toy-free zone.
